Much loved and spoilt grandkiddies of Nestor and Helen and Maureen and Bill.

Both steadfastly refused to be born on the 23rd - one held on until the 24th, the other raced to get out before the 23rd.

Bala, who began walking at 11 months, now climbs up onto, and walks on, the kitchen table. He also delights in climbing into a stripped 486 computer and absconding with the serial port. His latest trick is to climb onto the bed and turn the bedside lamp on. Rachel decorates the house with towels and hides the coasters. Don't ask. About either of them ;)

Bala was Baby of the Month in March 2002.
