Rambo

On the 26th May 2007 Goulburn’s famous Big Merino (Rambo) climbed up on to a 96 wheel flat bed truck and moved 800m down Hume St to his new home, accompanied by a bale of prime lucerne to help him settle in. The weather was perfect and Rambo was more than a little “moved” to see so many people turn out to see him leave his first home. It was a very successful move and quite impressive. Rambo’s new home isn’t quite finished yet, but he is happy there and is now welcoming all at the southern entrance to Goulburn.
