Orrapoora is very proud to announce that, out of 47 ribbons awarded in the Huacaya section of the 2005 Berry Fleece Show judged on Friday 28th January, 22% were of Orrapoora males’ progeny. Blue Grass Wolfgang progeny represented 15% of the total. Three Orrapoora stud males themselves received firsts.
7 progeny of Blue Grass Wolfgang, 2 of Blue Grass El Niño Dorado and 1 of Jolimont The Don received placings. Including the jointly-owned Benleigh Bellarine, Orrapoora itself took out 5 firsts, 1 second and 1 third, plus, with its partners in Ambersun Romanza - our magnificent 2003 National Champion Adult Male - a Best in Class and the Reserve Champion Huacaya Fleece.
