Spock

A sad ending to the year—we have lost our little live wire Jack Russell/Foxie cross—been a bad season for tiger snakes. (The snake didn’t live either!) Missing Spock very much. He was a “rescued” dog and was only just over 2½.

OUR DOGS
They ask us no questions
They tell us no lies
And when they address us
Look straight in our eyes.

Content with little
They never despair
But in all our troubles
They willingly share.

They ask us so little
They give us so much
Then always let sympathy
Dwell in our touch.
